We need a way to designate a former employee in Inspire
Currently the only way to free up employee headcount is to "archive" an employee which completely removes them from the software. Clients expect to be able to have access to legacy data. They shouldn't have to make decisions on should we send this person a profile because we are going to lose this person's data.
Clients expect to be able to run "post mortems" on previous employees.

If the solution is a downloaded CSV file, the time spent creating this is wasted. Users will have to understand what each number represents and recreate a visual in their head. Clients at least need the Behavioral report (downloaded version, not the clickable version) at a minimum. Access to other reports would not be necessary. Maybe have a type Former Employee with only the Behavioral Report as an option. The CSV file is a waste of developer time. -

Melanie WoodSo many retests are coming up as opposite patterns and people will be coaching to that or HIRING to that as real. We need to allow clients to keep people as past employees without having to delete the. the original pattern is GOLD!

Bill BarkerWhen discussing a candidate or reviewing the performance of existing individuals within a job class, often enough there is mention of former employees who performed well (or not), and having the profiles for such individuals adds important context. We must retain ALL original BA and CA data.

Sarah Mulvey AdminMoving to Administration as this relates to "unarchive" functionality.

Dave Berke AdminGreat idea. We have a feature in the roadmap coming soon that will allow a user to download BA data in a CSV file format for archived employees.

Alison GrizzleWhen people leave, they used to be moved to "other" but managers still had access to the pattern so that they could assess patterns and understand commonalities, post mortem, etc

Josh WellsI just want to say that the CSV downloads is not really a replacement to being able to see things in the software. It feels like a workaround for features that the clients expect to have within the software itself.
